Dashboard — User Guide
This guide covers everything needed to get started with the WEARFITS SaaS Dashboard: authentication, day-to-day navigation, API key management, billing, and troubleshooting.
Getting Started
Magic Link Login
WEARFITS uses a passwordless authentication system. No password is ever set or required.
- Go to dash.wearfits.com and enter your business email address.
- Check your inbox for a "Sign in to WEARFITS" email sent from
msg.wearfits.com. - Click the login button in the email. The link is valid for a single session only.
Smart Onboarding (New Customers)
First-time customers with product access are guided through a Smart Onboarding flow after registration. During this flow you select your primary technology — AR (Augmented Reality) for footwear and bags, or AI (Generative AI) for clothing — and complete your initial integration setup.
New accounts without product access are sent to Pricing first. Onboarding becomes available after access is active.
Welcome Screen
After your first successful purchase, a Welcome Screen is displayed. It summarises:
- Your active plan features.
- Your immediate limits: try-ons, products, and API keys.
- Direct links to the developer documentation for each SDK.
Account Access
New accounts without product access are redirected to the Pricing page after sign-in instead of the main dashboard. Direct visits to product tools are restricted as well.
- Pricing remains available so you can choose a plan.
- Activity remains available so you can review account activity.
- Product tools and API keys become available once product access is active.
Existing accounts that already have product access keep it. When access becomes active, the same signed-in session can continue into the dashboard.
Team Access
Enterprise teams share a workspace under one company account. An administrator or an existing team member can add another person; the person becomes a member immediately and receives a sign-in link with their email pre-filled. There is no invitation-acceptance step.
Team members:
- Share the company's 3D models and API keys while signing in with their own email address.
- Use the company plan. When the company has product access, individual Pricing and upgrade controls are not shown for team members.
- Can generate and upload 3D models and review them in Studio, including Approve, Reject, and Reopen review.
- Have permanent rights to replace a model file, rename a model, change its asset type, and delete the model. Publication and other model-change protections still apply.
Partner Workspaces
Customers using a partner workspace sign in through the partner's entry point, such as Fittingbox 3D Studio. An existing WEARFITS account can choose to connect to a partner from Settings; signing in alone does not silently change the account.
After registration or connection, enter the partner-provided key in the activation step in Settings. Until it is saved, the partner activation screen is the only workspace action available. After activation, the customer works in the partner-branded Studio rather than the regular WEARFITS dashboard.
Partner customers do not use WEARFITS Pricing, billing, Activity, support, or general API-key tools. The partner team manages customer access in Settings → Customers:
- Remove access displays an Access removed screen and prevents Studio use.
- Restore access returns the customer to the partner workspace when access is available again.
Overview (Home)
The Overview page is your central hub for real-time account monitoring.
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Plan Status Card | Current tier (FREE / STARTER / PRO), billing cycle end date, and subscription health. |
| Usage Snapshot | Real-time progress bars showing consumption against your monthly try-on limits. |
| Quick Tools | One-click access to the Models Library and the dashboard Upload 3D tool. |
Models Library
The Models Library is the dashboard workspace for uploading, classifying, sharing, downloading, filtering, and deleting your 3D models. Open it from the Tools menu or Quick Tools when it is available for your account.
Uploading a 3D Model
- Open the Models Library or the dashboard Upload 3D tool.
- Select a supported 3D model file and complete the upload.
- Open the uploaded model in the library to review its details and set its try-on asset type.
Models uploaded from the dashboard are associated with your WEARFITS account and appear in your own library.
Classifying a Model
On the model screen, choose a Try-on asset type. The selection is saved immediately; there is no separate Save button. Available types include Shoe, Handbag, Handbag in hand, Backpack, Hat, Watch, Accessory, and Other.
The selected type determines the appropriate try-on editor when one is available. Choosing a type does not by itself configure try-on. If the 3D product contains a type this dashboard does not recognize, it is shown as-is until you choose a replacement.
Filters and Saved Views
Search, mesh type, try-on asset type, owner, sorting, and page selection are reflected in the page address. You can reload, bookmark, or share a filtered view and return to the same results. Opening a model and selecting Back to models preserves the filters and sorting you used.
Sharing, Downloading, and Deleting
The model screen can provide:
- A Download file action for the uploaded model.
- Public links for the available 3D preview, AR preview, and camera try-on screens.
- QR codes for links intended to be opened on a phone.
Anyone with a public model link can open it without a Dashboard account. When a model has material presets, the selected preset is included in links that support presets.
If you have permission to remove a model, Delete is available from both its library card and its model screen. Confirm the action to move the model to trash. After deletion, the library returns to the current filtered view.
3D Studio
3D Studio is the workspace for generating models from product photos or a shoe description, uploading models, reviewing them, choosing a preview, and managing publication where a partner workflow is enabled. Its file picker accepts .glb, .gltf, .obj, .stl, .fbx, .wfp, .spz, .sog, and .ksplat files; ZIP batches use the separate ZIP option. You can upload multiple models and replace files in the same Studio session.
Reviewing Models
A review decision is separate from publication:
- Approve records that the model passed review and shows it as Approved.
- Reject records the decision and its reason but keeps the model and its files in the library.
- Reopen review returns the model to Ready for review so the decision can be corrected.
- Older models without review history can use Start review.
For partner workspaces, Publish is a separate action for an eligible validated model. Publication history remains visible if the local review later changes. A rehearsal is recorded as Rehearsal only and does not send the model to the partner. An uncertain publication is locked until an administrator checks its outcome.
An open support request also locks destructive review actions. Delete—including a delete started from the 3D product—and, in partner workspaces, Reject and delete remain unavailable while the request is being processed. The model stays in the library and the screen says that the support request is being processed. If you no longer need support, the model page and review window offer one confirmed action: I don't need support. Delete this model. Confirming it cancels the open support request without sending a resolution email, then deletes the model. This cannot be undone.
When no support request is open, Delete opens a confirmation with two choices:
- Delete 3D Model only (keep SKU) removes the 3D file but keeps the Studio entry, SKU, and review history.
- Delete Record removes the 3D file, if present, and hides the Studio record from normal Studio views. It does not give back a generation: monthly and daily limits, partner reporting and caps, and the free
/creategeneration counters continue to count it. If the record no longer has a 3D file, Delete Record is the available option for removing the remaining Studio entry.
Both choices affect only the local asset or record; deleting it does not undo a publication that already reached a partner. A published model cannot be renamed or replaced in place; create a new attempt instead.
The QA window can move to the next model requiring review, including models beyond the currently visible list page. Keyboard shortcuts are A or V to approve, R to begin rejection, and C to reopen the review. Shortcuts are inactive while the rejection form or another text field is active.
Retry a failed generation
Retry is available only for a failed, plan-based Studio generation when its source photos are still available and the same photos may help. It repeats the same photos, SKU, and asset type as a new attempt linked to the failed one, using the same limits and generation rules.
When a generation is still processing or has failed without producing a model, Request support is available for that generation. Submitting it is accepted even without a 3D model: the form closes and the request is shown as open. This is separate from Retry.
Retry is not offered when the photos are unavailable or when the result is unknown—for example, if submission timed out, the key used for the generation was removed or expired, or the task record expired. In those cases the model may already exist, so the generation remains in progress and continues to count toward the applicable limits. Check the model list before starting another generation.
Source Photos
New Studio generations keep their source photos available in Source images. Select Download source images to save the available photos as one ZIP file named after the SKU. Models generated outside Studio show source photos when those photos were retained; older records whose photos are no longer available may show Photo unavailable and cannot be downloaded or retried from those photos.
Viewer Selection
The 3D preview offers three modes:
- Preview — the 3D viewer without editing controls.
- Try-on editor — the editor for adjusting how the model fits and sits on the body, where available.
- Try-on — the camera try-on experience.
Your Preview or Try-on editor choice is remembered in this browser, applies to later models, and remains after a refresh. Try-on applies to the current model only; opening another model returns to your remembered Preview or Try-on editor choice. The Try-on editor uses the full available page width.
You can also choose one of four background colours. The selected background is remembered with your viewer preference. Changing a material preset also updates the Preview.
Filters and Bulk Actions
Studio filters include review status, source, asset type, owner, sorting, and page selection. On smaller screens, status filters wrap onto additional lines instead of requiring horizontal scrolling. Every Studio card has a checkbox for selection.
Bulk Publish and Delete actions operate only on eligible selected records. Bulk delete uses the same Delete 3D Model only (keep SKU) and Delete Record choices as individual delete. The result is shown separately for each model: successful records leave the selection and failed records remain selected for review. If a model changes after selection, Studio reports a conflict instead of acting on an outdated version.
Models from Fittingbox are labelled, and administrators can filter the Studio list by All, WEARFITS, or Fittingbox. The brand filter also affects counts and pagination. CSV export and the former Select first 1000 matching results control are not available.
Usage Analytics
The Usage Analytics section provides a historical view of your platform activity.
Time ranges: Choose 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 12 months. The shorter ranges show daily or weekly trends; 12 months uses calendar-month totals in UTC. The current month or period is marked as incomplete when it is still in progress.
Tracked metrics:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| AR Try-ons | Each successful Augmented Reality try-on initialisation for footwear and bags. |
| AI Try-ons | Each generated outfit preview produced by the AI try-on engine. |
| API Calls | Total requests made using your API keys across all integrations. |
Trend badges appear above each chart and indicate whether usage has increased or decreased compared with the equivalent preceding period.
Note: Usage statistics are calculated in near real-time but may carry a 1–5 minute delay during peak traffic periods.
Administrator Analytics
Administrators also have a Registrations chart in the admin analytics area. It shows new personal-account registrations by calendar period and excludes enterprise accounts. The chart supports the same time-range controls, including a 12-month calendar view, and identifies the current period as incomplete while it is still underway.
Recent Activity
The Activity Log records every significant event on your account:
- API Key events — creation and deletion, including who performed the action and when.
- Plan changes — upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations.
- Security events — successful logins with the IP address and browser information recorded for each action.
API Key Management
API keys are the credentials that link your storefront or backend to WEARFITS technology. Each key must be authenticated with every SDK or API request.
Creating a Key
- On the Home page, navigate to the API Keys section.
- Click Create New API Key.
- Enter a descriptive label, for example
Shopify ProductionorTesting. - Copy the key immediately — for security reasons, the full key value is shown only once at creation time.
All keys currently use the
footwear_namespace prefix, which is optimised for shoes and accessories.
API key management requires product access. New accounts without product access are sent to Pricing; Activity remains available.
SDK Authentication
Every SDK call must include your API key in the headers or the SDK configuration object. Your Dashboard tracks activity per key across three quota buckets:
- AR Try-ons — each successful AR initialisation.
- AI Generations — each generated image or preview.
- API Calls — total global requests for asset retrieval and synchronisation.
Key Rotation
Keys have an expiration date that depends on your plan tier. Best practice is to create a replacement key and update your integration at least two weeks before the old key expires to avoid service interruption.
SDK & Integration Options
WEARFITS offers multiple integration paths depending on your product category.
| Category | Integration |
|---|---|
| Footwear & Bags (AR) | SDK & Integration Guide · 3D Model Library |
| Clothing (AI) | AI Try-On Integration · AI API Reference |
| Asset Digitisation (Photo → 3D) | Photo-to-3D Integration API |
The SDKs handle usage reporting automatically: on each try-on or generation the SDK authenticates with the API key and increments the appropriate usage counter. Real-time statistics are then visible in your Dashboard. Custom server-to-server usage reporting is not a public API.
Subscriptions & Billing
Plan Tiers
WEARFITS offers separate subscription tiers for AR (Footwear) and AI (Clothing) products.
| Tier | Intended use |
|---|---|
| FREE | Available to existing accounts that already have access; new accounts need a paid plan. |
| STARTER | Growing brands that need greater try-on volume. |
| PRO | High-volume enterprise stores. |
Product limits are cumulative — they do not reset each month. Upgrading to a higher tier increases your total product allowance permanently.
3D Studio generation limits
Generation limits are separate from cumulative product limits. Studio allows 30 generations per account per day, plus a calendar-month cap in UTC that depends on the plan: Basic 30, Starter 100, Pro 300, and Scale 600 generations. Enterprise accounts and their teams have no monthly plan cap; partner customers follow the partner's generation cap instead. The free /create generation is separate and does not count toward a paid plan's monthly cap.
Managing Your Subscription
Access the Stripe Customer Portal from within the Dashboard to:
- Update your credit card or billing address.
- View and download past invoices.
- Cancel or upgrade your plan. New limits apply immediately upon upgrade.
FAQ & Troubleshooting
My API key is returning a "Forbidden" error. Check three things: confirm the key has Active status in your Dashboard, make sure your account has product access, and verify that your Product Limit has not been exceeded. If your account has no product access, open Pricing and activate a paid plan; if the product limit is the issue, upgrade your plan.
How do I increase my Product Limit? Go to the Pricing page and select a higher tier. Product limits are cumulative across the lifetime of your subscription and do not reset monthly.
I did not receive my Magic Link.
Confirm you are using the email address registered on your account. Check your spam or junk folder and add a filter to allow emails from msg.wearfits.com.
My usage statistics look delayed. This is expected behaviour. Statistics are near real-time but may lag by 1–5 minutes during peak periods.
